- Prepare the Autoclave Place the autoclave on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the inner drum and tripod are properly positioned. Check the gasket and lid sealing area for cleanliness.
- Add Water Pour the recommended amount of clean water into the chamber (usually 1–1.5 liters or as marked). Ensure water does not exceed the maximum level.
- Load the Instruments Place instruments inside the SS drum—make sure they are cleaned and dried. Do not overload; steam must circulate freely. Keep instruments slightly separated for proper sterilization.
- Close the Lid Align the lid properly and tighten the handles evenly in a diagonal sequence. Ensure the gasket is seated correctly for a proper seal.
- Set the Timer Connect the autoclave to a 110/220V power supply. Set the Electronic Timer (0–60 minutes) based on sterilization requirements. Typical cycle: 25–40 minutes depending on load.
